Our company was founded in June 2003. Datacomms Plus is a Manawatu based firm specialising in communication and network cabling. Our highly experienced technicians are familiar with the latest in communication technology and offer a quality, competitive service. We have grown steadily over the past 5 years and continue to expand in the areas we work in. Our staff are willing to travel and stay out of our local area to complete projects that require us to be on site for a number of days/weeks. We are Telecom Accredited Dealers and Subcontractors. We are also preferred contractors with the Ministry of Education for the installation of Structured Network Cabling. We have over 15 years experience Managing Projects to be completed to a very high standard of work within the expected time frames.
Data & Network Cabling Services
Datacomms Plus specialise in network cabling infrastructures to carry voice and data information throughout the workplace. These networks comply with the EIA/TIA industry standards for Category 5e and Category 6 and are guaranteed for 15 years. The cabling infrastructure is capable of carrying 10 mbs - 100 mbs and gigabit network traffic, enabling high speed data transfers as well as voice over IP and Video Conferencing. Our team has the experience, expertise and knowledge to install, test and maintain these high speed networks.
The principals have many years experience in Main Frame and PC computing, voice and data cabling systems, giving us a solid IT based approach to networking. We pride ourselves on providing quality and professional attitudes when working with clients. Implementing a fully functional structured cabling solution is a complex undertaking, requiring correct planning and project management. We work alongside our clients supplying expertise on both technical and aesthetic levels combined with a professional service to ensure successful completion.

Telephone and PABX Services
We have qualified Telephone and PABX technicians. Current staff hold certificates from Nortel Communication Systems for the Installation of Aria 34e’s, 100’s, and 186’s. They also hold a National Certificate in Telecommunications Level 2. Over the past five years Datacomms Plus Ltd has provided Telephone System and PABX services for Telecom New Zealand TBSL (Telecom Business Systems Limited), The Aorangi Hospital, Palmerston North (Aria 300) and New Zealand Pharmaceuticals, Palmerston North (Aria 186) and many other businesses. We provide these customers with a prompt and efficient service when required for their moves, changes and system administration. Jobs are to be managed so travel is kept to a minimum. Response times are kept to a minimum with a dedicated roving technician. We supply a quality service using our test equipment and providing a reliable service with full back up.
